Interview: Andrea Arnold

Both an Oscar winner and the recipient of the Cannes Jury Prize, Andrea Arnold is one of Britain's most promising directors. Her films -- Red Road and the upcoming Fish Tank -- combine a realistic aesthetic with all the tension of a thriller to create compelling dramas with unexpected endings. I had the opportunity to interview the filmmaker for The Playlist as she promotes Fish Tank, which will be released this Friday by IFC.
